Essentials for life are here to empower you to get through all those difficult situations and get done what looked impossible, motivate you to dream again and reach your goals, inspire you to live a purposeful life, follow your passion and leave a legacy.  I share lessons and inspiration from practical experiences. I keep it real because life is not a rehearsal. I will be talking about different topics ranging from relationships, career, leadership, happiness, motivation, health & fitness, productivity, lifestyle, finances etc.

Things had to Change

I am currently far away from home, where I was raised and grew up, my comfort zone, my motherland. I got hitched and followed my heart ( if you know what I mean). I grew up telling my siblings and those who cared to listen that I will stick to home, and never settle anywhere else but my motherland. Well, love happened and God had other plans.

In 2018 I decided to go to the drawing board and look at my life and where I wanted to be. I had to make changes if I was to get where I wanted to be. From career, social life and spiritual life etc.

Things had to change, and my steps had to be reordered, I am growing up and soon to bring humans into the world, so I had to get it right. It’s been hard and draining but it’s also a blessing to be alive at this point in my life. I feel like this because I have gone back to start over some of the things I didn’t do well or God is giving me a chance to do them over. I will say as long as you are alive, you still have a chance to make things better.

I have made mistakes along the way and learnt a lot from them. I don’t regret it because out of all that I have gone through God really prepared me for a time such as this. I am here to share the few things I have experienced and the lessons I have taken from them.

Some people have to go through certain things to get lessons so that others won’t go through the same.
